Program:
meeting of the participants with the guide and begin of the excursion. In the morning visit of the historical centre. It begins from the entrance to the Olympic Theatre (A. Palladio 1585) and short visit to the inner Chiericati Palace. Walk in Corso Palladio (the main street) and C9ontrà Porti with outside explication of the most meant city palaces
(Thiena Palace by A.Palladio, Barbaran da Porto palace by A.Palladio, Porto Colleoli palace, Ca’ d’oro). Visit to Piazza dei Signori with the Palladian basilica, Palazzo del Capitaniato, Monte di Pietà, Bissara Tower.
Continuation through Corso Fogazzaro until Saint Laurence square where Valmarana Palace (A.Palladio), Repeta Palace (F.Mattoni) and the gothic church of Saint Laurence can be admired.Mattoni) ed il tempio gotico di San Lorenzo.

Lunch in restaurant with typical menu. Short
visit to the sanctuary of Monte Berico ( where
we can find “the dinner of Saint Gregory the
Great” by P.Veronese), with high panoramic
view of the city and of the province, framed
by the Venetian preAlps and by the Small
Dolomiti. Walk through the famous porches
until Villa Valmarana ai Nani (15 minutes on foot walking calmly). Visit to the inside, magnificently frescoed by Gianbattista and Gian Domenico Tiepolo (one of the greatest eighteenth-century masterpieces). Conclusive
walk until the most famous villa, La Rotonda, the Palladian masterpiece.

It is possible to visit every day the villa outside.

End of the excursion.

jewellery shops. Possible tasting of the typical products of the city,
such as the stockfish
“alla vicentina” and the grappa.
