Program with boarding in Strà
(Venice).
Meeting of the participants to the main entrance of Villa
Pisani in Strà.
Optional visit of the villa. Boarding on the motor-ship
and navigation along the river Brenta. Pause in Dolo for
the free visit of the watermills (XVI century). After
lunch optional visit to Villa Barchessa Valmarana.
Gone on board, the navigation will continue until Malcontenta
resort, where it will be possible to visit optionally
the wonderful Villa Foscari called “La Malcontenta”
realized by Palladio in 1560. Gone on board of the motor-ship
will appear the colourful and majestic hall of Piazza
San Marco. Return to Fusina, disembarkation of the participants
and end of the excursion. |
Venetian villas in bicycle.
A various and only way to come near to the villas is to
make it in bicycle. By this way can be visited far places.
We are organized for the chartering of the bicycles, also
leaving from a hotel of the zone. We would have the possibility
to make you to visit other villas
regarding the usual itinerary, lived by the owners who
will give testimony of their history.
Possibility to make a pause to the museum of the “villano”
(peasant), where instruments and testimonies of the Venetian
agricultural activity can be found . Visit and tasting
in one wine cellar of the zone. Return to the point of
departure or just the hotel. It is possible to make the
same itinerary with coach GT. |
