Program:
meeting of the participants at 9.30 and encounter with
the guide in the agreed place. Guided visit to the historical
centre of the city
of Treviso. The route winds among the monumental churches,
the frescoed houses and the evocative and characteristic
corners of the city.
Entrance to the monumental temple of Saint Nicolas and
in the chapterhouse, valuable testimony of the late gothic
architecture and of the ‘200-‘300 frescoes.

The route cont inues through Calmaggiore and Piazza dei
Signori in order to catch up the medieval Loggia of the
Knights. The traditional
meeting places of the inhabitant of Treviso will be reached
also: Canalle dei Buranelli, la Pescheria.
Lunch with typical menù in restaurant.
In the afternoon transfer from Treviso to
Montello. Visit to the Ossuary monument and to the Museum
of the Great War.
Visit to the English cemetery and end of the excursion. |
