Program:
at 9.00 meeting of the participants in Rovigo near the
bus station. Encounter with the guide and beginning of
the visit to the city.
The visit begins from Matteotti square where rose the
ancient castle, of which today remain only the two towers
and a part of the walls.
It continues with the dome of Saint Stephan and through
Corso del Popolo, reaches Emanuele II square, adorned
by important palaces like the communal one (it was used
as loggia of notaries, at the side of the clock tower)
and Roncale Palace. It begins here a short walk to arrive
to Garibaldi square. After the view of the two worlds
hero monument and of the social theatre, visit to the
sanctuary of the Virgin. The route concludes to the museum
of the great rivers in the ancient Benedictine monastery.
Lunch in the restaurant of Luisa piccolo, typical small
village for the production of vegetables with typical
menù. |
The natural park of the Po delta
Program:
meeting of the participants near the wharf of the provincial
administration in Taglio di Po (Ro). Navigation along
the Po, Po della Pila, Busa di Tramontana, Busa Dritta,
Falo di Pila, Busa di Scirocco during which it will be
possible to admire the evocative nature of this unpolluted
park. Visit to the Scanno Boa beach, populated by birds
of different
species.
Lunch to edge with typical fish menu.
After lunch it is possible to visit the Regional Reclamation
museum of Ca’ Vendramin and visit to the first ‘900s
water-scooping machine.
