The Asiago and Folgaria tablelands
are the first contact between the Padana plain and the
Dolomiti (medium altitude of 1000m)..
|
Programma:
meeting of the participants with the guide in the agreed
place and departure to the Folgaria plateau. Arrival to
Lavarone and walk on the shores of the evocative alpine
lake. Continuation to Passo Vezzena, m 1402 and descent
to the plateau of Asiago. Arrival to the small village
of Cesuna and walk in the woods in order to catch up the
alpine refuge where
in magnificent mountains, it will be served the typical
mountain lunch.
Transfer to Asiago, chief town of the Seven Communes plateau,
famous holiday locality and equipped ski centre. |
Potremmo ammirare tra le pittoresche viuzze, il centro
della città, il duomo, il municipio, la
loggia dei caduti ed il famoso palaghiaccio. Da non dimenticare
la visita al sacrario militare dove giacciono le salme
di oltre 51.000
soldati morti sui due fronti del primo conflitto mondiale.
Possibile visita al consorzio lattiero-caseario del formaggio
di Asiago. Rientro e termine
dell'escursione. |

In the spring and summery days it
is possible to rent a pedalò to cross the
lake and to take a bath.
Possibility moreover to make walks and excursions
and in september the
mushrooms collection
for expert people.
Possibility to visit the cheese factories and salami
factories of the zone (typical products are the
Asiago-cheese and the speck). |
